NALA VILLAGE EXPLORATION

The Nagarkot Nala Day Hike is a journey through breathtaking Himalayan vistas, rolling hills, and charming villages where time slows down. The crisp mountain air and panoramic landscapes invite us to reconnect with nature, surrender to the beauty of our surroundings and simply breathe! Along the way, we immerse oursleves in the rhythm of local life, witnessing traditions that have stood the test of time. This hike isn’t about reaching a destination—it’s about savoring every step, every view, and every moment of stillness in the heart of Nepal.

BHAKTAPUR

On our second day, we wander through the magic of Bhaktapur, a city where where every square, temple, and alleyway tells a story of Nepal’s royal past. As one of the country’s best-preserved medieval gems, this UNESCO World Heritage site is a masterpiece of medieval architecture, adorned with intricately carved temples and vibrant courtyards. Towering over the city, the Nyatapola Temple stands as a symbol of architectural brilliance, offering breathtaking views and a glimpse into Nepal’s royal legacy.

CHANGUNARAYAN TEMPLE

Perched on a hill in Bhaktapur, Changu Narayan Temple is a breathtaking showcase of Nepal’s artistic and spiritual heritage. As one of the country’s oldest and most revered Vishnu temples, this UNESCO World Heritage site is adorned with intricate wood and stone carvings that date back centuries. The two-tiered pagoda, reconstructed in 1702, stands at the heart of a courtyard filled with beautifully sculpted deities, some crafted as early as the 5th century. With its unmatched concentration of ancient art, Changu Narayan is both a place of devotion and a masterpiece of Nepalese craftsmanship.

NAGARKOT WATERFALL HIKE

The Nagarkot Waterfall Hike is a refreshing escape into nature, winding through peaceful forests and vibrant greenery. As the trail unfolds, the sound of rushing water grows stronger until the waterfall comes into view—an untouched gem tucked away in the hills. Here, we pause to take in the mesmerizing sight, feel the cool mist on our skin, and unwind by the cascading waters. The return journey passes through rustic villages, offering a genuine glimpse into daily life and the rich local culture.

PASHUPATHINATH TEMPLE, KATHMANDU

Stepping into Pashupatinath Temple is like entering a sacred world, where centuries of tradition and devotion come alive. As one of the most revered Hindu temples in the world, its peaceful atmosphere is enhanced by the serene Bagmati River flowing beside it. Here, we can watch devotees performing ancient rituals, with the temple’s intricately carved structures offering a deep sense of spiritual significance. The air is thick with reverence, making each moment spent here an unforgettable encounter with Nepal’s spiritual soul.
